Shenandoah National Park Fee-Free Day for U.S. Citizens and Residents — Theodore Roosevelt’s Birthday

October 27 is Theodore Roosevelt’s Birthday and one of the National Park Service’s 2026 fee-free entrance dates. On that date, Shenandoah National Park waives the entrance fee for U.S. citizens and residents. International visitors should confirm current entrance fees directly with the National Park Service. Camping, reservations, permits, concessions, tours, and other charges are not included in the waiver. Facility hours, road conditions, and weather can vary; check the park’s official site before traveling.
