White Oak Lavender Farm & Purple WOLF Vineyard

A working lavender farm with goats, sheep, and a vineyard tasting room — genuinely great for families, best during the June–July bloom.

White Oak Lavender Farm and its on-site Purple WOLF Vineyard pair a working lavender farm — goats, sheep, a life-size checkerboard, swings — with a real wine, beer, and cider tasting room and lavender ice cream. It’s one of the few drinking stops in the region genuinely built for families, not just couples.

The lavender fields peak in bloom from roughly June through July; visit outside that window and the fields are mostly cut stubs, so set expectations accordingly. Both the shop and tasting room are open all seven days, though exact hours shift several times a year — check before a long drive.
