Muse Vineyards

The most ambitious winemaking in Shenandoah County, now open all seven days, with a walking trail and swinging bridge over the river.

Muse Vineyards is a family-owned winery just outside Woodstock, known locally for serious, structured winemaking rather than a casual tasting-room vibe. A walking trail leads to a swinging bridge over the Shenandoah River — worth the extra twenty minutes if the weather’s good.

Dogs are welcome both inside and outside the tasting room. The winery is now open daily; older listings describing a Tuesday–Wednesday closure are out of date. Food service varies — call ahead if a real meal, not just a pour, is part of the plan.
