Dark Hollow Falls is a 1.4-mile round-trip hike to a waterfall, rated Moderate by the National Park Service with about 440 feet of elevation gain — short on distance but steep and rocky underfoot. Wet rocks can be genuinely slippery, so it’s not an easy stroll despite the short mileage.
