Arts & Artisans Fine Art Gallery, a few doors down from Main Street’s restaurants, gives visitors an actual working artist to watch: resident potter Cathie Miranda (“Potterlady”) throws pieces on site alongside paintings and other work from regional artists.

It’s a genuine browse, not a big commitment — 20 to 30 minutes is plenty for most visitors, longer if you talk with whoever’s working. It’s closed Monday through Wednesday, so call ahead if you’re coming specifically for it.
