Luray’s all-volunteer fire department has been protecting the town since 1901, and it marks 125 years with a free open house at the fairgrounds — a fire truck show, bounce houses for the kids, and food for sale from the department’s own booth. It’s a low-key, genuinely local evening rather than a produced festival, and a good one to bring kids who like fire trucks up close.
No ticket, no registration — just show up when the gates open. Bring cash if you want food from the booth.
